The math

What a real case costs

$999 is the placement fee only. A single tooth implant case is the math below. CBCT is included. We show you this on day one. Nothing changes at checkout.

Single tooth implant, full case

Extraction $249
Collagen plug (required) $50
Bone graft $199
Implant placement (CBCT scan included) $999
Subtotal, stage 1 visit $1,497
Stage 2 visit (3-6 mo later) $149
Total at Pull and Place $1,646

Add $200 for oral sedation if you want it. Crown is a separate visit at your general dentist, typically $1,200 to $2,500 in this area.

Alternate scenario

Implant only (tooth already gone)

If the tooth is already missing and the site has healed, you skip the extraction, plug, and graft. You only pay for the implant work.

Implant placement (CBCT scan included) $999
Stage 2 visit (3-6 mo later) $149
Total at Pull and Place $1,148

No bone graft and no collagen plug needed when the site is already healed. If we find at consult that the bone is too thin for placement, we will tell you up front.

What is a CBCT?

CBCT stands for Cone Beam Computed Tomography. It is a 3D x-ray that shows the bone, nerve, and sinus around your teeth. A scan takes about 20 seconds and uses a fraction of the radiation of a medical CT scan, comparable to a long-haul flight.

For implant work, a flat 2D x-ray is not enough. We need to know exactly how thick the bone is, where the inferior alveolar nerve runs, and how the sinus floor sits. The CBCT gives us all of that so we place the implant without surprises.

Most Bradenton practices charge $250 to $400 for a dental CBCT, often billed separately from the implant fee. We own the scanner and run it ourselves, so we include the scan, the planning, and the surgery in the $999 placement fee. If you need an implant, you need a CBCT. Charging extra for it would not make sense.

What's included

Every fee includes the chair time, local anesthesia, the procedure, sutures if needed, and your written post-op instructions. The implant fixture is a US-made implant from a major manufacturer. The fee is the fee whether your case takes 20 minutes or an hour.

What's not included

The crown that goes on top of the implant is not in our price. We do not do crowns. We do not do bridges, dentures, fillings, or cleanings. Your regular dentist or a prosthodontist makes and places the crown after stage 2. We send them a digital scan and all surgical records.

IV sedation and nitrous oxide are not offered. We do offer oral sedation, see the sedation page for details.

How to pay

Cash, debit, credit card. We accept CareCredit and Cherry financing for amounts over $500, which covers most implant cases. We do not bill insurance. You can submit your own claim to your insurer for reimbursement and we will give you the codes.

What it would cost elsewhere

A single tooth implant case at a typical Bradenton practice ranges from $4,000 to $6,000 all-in once you add the crown. At Pull and Place: $1,646 for our part, plus the crown your dentist makes (about $1,200 to $2,500). Total $2,800 to $4,100. Lower because our scope is narrower.
